When we first proposed a Battle of the Bands in the Ursuline School gym, most everyone thought we were a bit crazy. We even thought we were a bit crazy.

 

Six bands and singers from six schools on one stage? It was only a few months earlier that we had gone on-line with one of the nation’s first student-run sites, TUSWebs.

 

And now, like any good radio station, live or on-line, we thought a concert was in order. It made sense to us, and by midnight, Friday, April 23, it made sense to several hundred students who had come to enjoy great music and raise funds for a great cause, Songcatchers of Westchester.
